BookDating 2019

       For the first time in our city, within the walls of SKSU Book Dating (take your favorite book with you) - an effective, modern and intelligent platform for discussing books of various subjects and orientations was held in the «Mukhtartanu» Research Center. Students of different faculties, teachers and EIC staff gathered in it. The event was divided into two parts by the format of bookding. In the first part,  the speaker was Kaldybaev T.K. a professor, Ph.D. , who presented 3 books that influenced his life and becoming a scientist: M. Abdikamiluly “Akpan Batyr”, M. Auezov “Abay Zholy” and G. Mustafin "Karagandy". Baltabekova S., head of sector of EIC introduced about the life and work of Kaldybaev T.K.

        Beketov B.M. Associate Professor, Ph.D., Kalshabekov A. B. Associate Professor, Ph.D., Mazhinbekov S.A. director of the department of educational work and youth policy, Rybalkina N.V. director of the EIC were expressed their opinion about the benefits of reading and the importance of such events for our students.

        Book reviews were accompanied by book trailers and slides. In the second part, students talked about their favorite books, which left a positive mark in their lives and exchanged between them. Does today's youth read? Yes, of course, and we are convinced of this!

On October 25, 2019, a reader’s conference with teachers and students of the faculty "Pedagogy and culture" dedicated to A. Kekilbaev’s novel “Angyzdyng aqyry” was organized as part of the “One Country, One Book” action in the reading room No. 5 of Educational Information Center.

New Humanities Education: 100 New Textbooks in Kazakh Language

On October 24, 2019 a round table to discuss 30 new books received at the Educational Information Center was held on the program «Ruhani Zhangyru: The Way to the Future» in the framework of the project «New Humanities Education, 100 new textbooks in Kazakh language» in the scientific and methodological center «Elbasytanu». The 1st course students, teachers, Zh. Zhaksylyk is Deputy Dean of the Higher School of «Information Technology and Energy» and B. Zhumabaev and S. Baltabekov are  heads of sectors EIC  took part in the event.

On October 23, 2019 a round table was held on the program «Ruhani Zhangyru: The Way to the Future» in the framework of the project «New Humanities Education, 100 New Textbooks in Kazakh Language» in the reading hall № 4. G. Mulgaydarova, Sh. Altynbekov, Zh. Esmakhanova, G. Altaeva are teachers of the faculty of «Physical culture and sport»,  Higher School of «Natural-scientific-pedagogical» and students of 1-2 courses, A. Kauynbaeva is librarian and Zh. Erezhepova is head of department EIC took part in it.

New Humanities Education: 100 New Textbooks in Kazakh Language

On October 10, 2019 round table was held on the program «Ruhani Zhangyru: The Way to the Future» in the framework of the project «New Humanities Education, 100 New Textbooks in Kazakh Language» in the reading hall № 1 with students and teachers of the Higher school of “Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology.” The event organized by A. Arystanova, librarian of Educational Information Center. During the event, 49 textbooks were presented, that translated and published in the framework of the program of modernization of public consciousness.
